Rumi One of my albums of the year. An amazing evocation - channeling - invocation of the Dethick church, landscape and history. The music is full of ideas - it seems to contain hidden parts and secrets.

arbitify It's great that Another Timbre is now on Bandcamp. This album is a fine example of why the label is such a treasure. Anything with Angharad Davies is going to be exciting and here we have violin, cello and lots of rich texture. Stef Gjissels of the Free Jazz Blog coined the term silencescape for music like this. When it's well-done, as it is here, it's quite beautiful.

I really appreciate that with such a large group of musicians the overall sound and experience of listening is really spacious, never cluttered.
